Simplifies Electronic File Management
Houston, TX - October 19, 2003 - Today at ARMA International's Annual Conference and Exposition in Boston, Information Network International shows the newest release of the InSighttm Email and Document Extension. The InSight Extension provides input and view features while leveraging security and retention policies to manage electronic files stored in shared repositories. The InSight Extension integrates with Lotus Notes email, Microsoft Office, Outlook and SQL Server. It integrates to InSight Automated Records Management System for standardized compliance with policy, security and activity tracking.

"This year's version of InSight Extension lets people view and update managed collections very quickly. Email and attachments can be filed with a single action and new records can be added in compliance with data integrity rules pertinent to the collection."
Easing Adoption of Records Management
The InSight Extension is accessed from the File menu command of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Lotus email is supported by adding an InSight button on the mail system client. InSight configurations support multiple repositories and automated destruction, in compliance with contemporary rules about retention. The InSight Extension is integrated to the data templates, retention policy, and destruction processes established by authorized users of InSight Automated Records Management System. Spreadsheets, documents, presentations and emails filed with InSight Extension may be content searched using the system's integrated web application called InSight EveryWhere.
